Student Fees

If you have any queries about fees, please email the Student Fees team at student-fees@royalholloway.ac.uk.

You can contact the team to discuss the following queries:

  • Student Finance England loans not approved
  • Send us a copy of your approved Student Finance England loan
  • Instalment plans for tuition fees only
  • How to pay fees or you can also find information on our website.
  • Early payment discount information
  • Sponsor / employer paying fees
  • Scholarship payments
  • Refunds

Student Administration

There are some billing and fee related queries that you can contact the Student Administration team for. Please email Student-Administration@royalholloway.ac.uk for the following queries:

  • Your identity check
  • Online Sign-up
  • Tuition fee billing
  • If your billing on Campus Connect is incorrect
  • If your alumni discount is incorrect or not appearing
  • Any other discounts that haven’t been applied to your tuition fees
  • If you’ve fully completed enrolment but your Student Loans Company registration isn’t confirmed
  • Any bursary queries

Student Services Centre

The Student Services Centre is your first point of contact for any non-academic queries and they can sign-post you to other College services.  

School Helpdesks

Your School Helpdesk is your first point of contact for any academic queries. Contact information for the School Helpdesks can be found on our School contact information webpage.

Hall Life

As a new student, the best way to find out everything you need to know about starting your studies and joining our university community, is by downloading the Official Royal Holloway app. The Welcome to Royal Holloway guide contains important information, including aspects of student life, details of your course induction and various welcome activities. 

There is also the Living in Halls guide for students moving into Halls of Residence. This guide contains practical advice for living with others and details of support available to you.

Hall Receptions

If you're moving into Halls, when you arrive onto campus you will need to report to your Hall Reception to check-in. If you are arriving outside of Hall Reception opening hours, you will need to check in at the College Security Office, which is located opposite the Visitors' Centre in the Founder's Building.

Admissions

The Admissions Office can help with enquiries around:

  • Updating the conditions of your offer
  • Receiving or amending a CAS
  • Questioning your fee status assessment
  • Changing your course details before you enrol

If you have a query, please complete the Admissions enquiry form and a member of the team will get back to you.

Wellbeing: International Advice

The International Advice team can help with enquiries around:

  • Applying for Student visas
  • Questions about immigration in the UK as a student
  • Police registration
  • Schengen visas
  • US Federal Aid
  • Canadian aid
  • Immigration options for after your studies
  • Life in the UK (i.e. banking, working, national insurance numbers)

Wellbeing: Support and Guidance

Our Wellbeing Advisors are here to support all students with their general wellbeing and can provide non-clinical advice about maintaining good wellbeing and also guidance on transition and adjustment to university life.

  • In person/online: The Advisors will be available for 1-2-1 meetings on MS Teams and in person for any query you may have related to your health and wellbeing.

Wellbeing: Disability and Neurodiversity

The Disability and Neurodiversity team support all students who have disclosed a disability, long standing medical condition, specific learning difficulty or mental health condition. Their support includes making reasonable adjustments, diagnostic assessments, academic & study skills advice, specialist mentoring, access to a mental health adviser and DSA guidance.

Disability Advisers will be available for 1-2-1 meetings on MS Teams or in person if you have questions about disability support or registering with them.

Wellbeing: Money and Funding Advice

The Money and Funding Advisors offer advice and guidance on a variety of financial matters to all students including budgeting advice, access to financial support through the Study Support Grant, debt management, money saving tips and advice on benefits. 

In person/online: the Advisors will be available for 1-2-1 meetings on MS Teams or in person to discuss financial support and provide advice on budgeting.

Emergency Services

The UK Police, Ambulance and Fire Services can be reached on 999 (or 112) from any UK telephone, including locked mobile phones. If you need to call the emergency services on campus, please also call Security on 01784 443888 – they’ll help to direct the emergency services when they arrive.
