Accepting your offer
The process of accepting your offer will be different depending on whether you have applied through UCAS or directly to Royal Holloway.
Accepting an undergraduate offer through UCAS
If you’ve applied for an undergraduate programme, all information relating to your offer will be sent to you through UCAS. You can access this by logging onto the UCAS website
Once you have received decisions from all your university choices, you need to choose a firm (preferred) choice of university and an insurance (second) choice, in case you don’t achieve the grades that your firm choice has asked for. All your other offers will then be declined.
Accepting a postgraduate offer made directly
If you’ve applied for a postgraduate programme, we will have made you an offer directly.
To reply to this offer, you will need to pay a deposit. For further information on deposit payments, please see our course deposit pages.
Accepting an offer for a university preparation or English language programme
If you’ve applied for Pre-Masters Diploma for International Students or for one of our Pre-sessional English language programmes, your application is processed by our Admissions team.
To accept your offer, you are also required to pay a £1,000 deposit, or your course fees in advance for Pre-sessional English language courses. For further information, please see the Next steps for offer holders for English language preparation programmes page, or email study@royalholloway.ac.uk
Deposits
If you are applying for an undergraduate, postgraduate taught or English and academic preparatory course, you will be required to pay a deposit to secure your place at Royal Holloway. Deposits can be paid online. For further information about deposit payments, please see our course deposit pages.
Payment of the deposit will confirm that you would like to accept your offer.
