On track: Pathways to impact in grant applications

What is it?

Credible, robust impact plans are increasingly looked at by funders when selecting amongst multiple high quality research applications. This session will equip you with knowledge of what funders require, tips for how to write excellent impact plans, and practical examples of what “good” looks like. This is an interactive session and researchers at all career stages are welcome. Lunch is included.

 The session is run by Impact Managers Kristina Glushkova and Olivia Swift with input from Research Services Officer Hanna Barclay, and will cover:

  • research council requirements
  • tips for palling impact and writing strong Pathways to Impact
  • overview of types of stakeholders, benefits and impact activities
  • what good looks like: group analysis of strong pathways to impact
  • group discussion

 

Target audience

Researchers looking to strengthen the impact side of their grant applications.
