Overview:
SN2001 is a core language course for Year 2 students on the post A-Level pathway. The course consists of different components: grammar, comprehension, written expression and oral practice. During the course, the students will work on developing a more sophisticated vocabulary, complex sentences and structures, they will also be prepared for their PRA in a Spanish-speaking work or university environment. During the course the students will analyse and be exposed to a mixture of authentic texts from Spanish and Latin-American newspapers and magazines, they will also write summaries of these texts and short essays on controversial topics. The weekly oral sessions are designed to give students the opportunity to improve their fluency in spoken Spanish.
