Enrolment for continuing students

We encourage all students continuing a degree course to complete College enrolment before the start of term to make the transition to the new academic year as smooth as possible. The enrolment window for the 2022/23 academic year opens for September 2022 starters from mid-August, and from early December for January 2023 starters. As a continuing student, you'll be required to complete the two enrolment steps below. This includes completing enrolment even if you are:

  • On a Year in Industry or Year in Business in 2022/23
  • Retaking assessments in 2022/23 for example, repeating or re-sitting a module
  • On a Year Abroad in 2022/23

If you have not progressed to the next stage of your degree course, please make sure you respond to the progression recommendation in Campus Connect and contact your School so you can be registered for your repeat or resit modules, as you won't be able to enrol until both of these steps have been completed. For more information please visit the results and progression webpages.

Enrol onto your course in two steps

Enrolment emails will be sent from mid-August for courses conitnuing in September 2022. Once you recieve your email you will be able to enrol onto your course. The email provide instructions for how to complete the two steps of enrolment.

All continuing students must enrol each academic year by completing:

Register your modules

You will also need to check Campus Connect under ‘My Studies’ for your module registrations.

If you have any queries on module registration, please contact your School. School and department contact information can be found here. If you are on a joint course, please make sure you contact both of your departments. Look out for emails from your School about starting the next year of your course at the beginning of term.

If you are retaking assessments in 2022/23 for example, resitting or repeating, you should have confirmed your module choices with your department as this may affect your ability to enrol. If you have not done this, please contact your School Helpdesk and see our Enrolling for resits and repeats webpage below.

You should complete all of the enrolment steps before continuing your degree course.

Check your enrolment status

To check your enrolment status, log into Campus Connect, click on 'Enrolment' and select ‘Start of Session Checklist’. This will show you when you have completed Online Sign-up and Tuition Fee Payment.

You must complete enrolment before continuing your degree course to ensure that you can continue to access College systems. Please see below for more information about the start of term and what to do if you will be delayed in arriving, and how to continue to complete your enrolment.

Check the enrolment deadline for your course

The standard deadline to enrol at the College is 21 days from the start of your course. However, some Schools have set an earlier deadline due to the intensity of the course at the start of term. To check your School’s latest arrival and enrolment date please see the below table.

Failure to enrol & Late arrival

You should aim to arrive and enrol as soon as possible at the start of term and at the latest by your School's enrolment deadline.

If you cannot arrive by your School's deadline then you may need to consider interrupting your studies to the next academic year. In some exceptional cases, and where appropriate evidence is provided before the deadline the School, with Student Administration may temporarily accept a late arrival and enrolment. You should first contact your School to discuss this.

For further details, including if you are delayed coming to campus or arriving in the UK please visit the Failure to enrol webpages

If you are due to be in Halls of Residence, you should also inform the Student Services Centre of your delay.

Your late arrival and enrolment will not change your liability for full tuition or accommodation fees.

Returning from interuption

You’ll need to contact your School Helpdesk to make sure you’re registered on the modules you will be taking when you return. There is support available to you if you need any help settling back into your studies.
