Enrolment for continuing students

You will be emailed to your University email address in the week commencing 14 August 2023 inviting you to complete enrolment for the 2023/24 academic year before the start of term (Monday 18 September 2023).

As a continuing student, you'll be required to complete the two enrolment steps below. This includes completing enrolment even if you are:

  • On a Year in Industry or Year in Business in 2023/24
  • Retaking assessments in 2023/24 for example, repeating or re-sitting a module
  • On a Year Abroad in 2023/24

If you have not progressed to the next stage of your degree course, please make sure you respond to the progression recommendation in Campus Connect and contact your School so you can be registered for your repeat or resit modules, as you won't be able to enrol until both of these steps have been completed. For more information please visit the results and progression webpages.

Enrol onto your course in two steps

All continuing students must re-enrol each academic year by completing:

Check your enrolment status

To check your enrolment status, log into Campus Connect, click on 'Enrolment' and select ‘Start of Session Checklist’. This will show you when you have completed Online Sign-up and when your Tuition Fee Payment has been processed.

You must complete enrolment before continuing your degree course to ensure that you can continue to access university systems. Please see below for more information about the start of term and what to do if you will be delayed in arriving, and how to continue to complete your enrolment.

Failure to enrol & Late arrival

You should aim to arrive and enrol as soon as possible at the start of term and at the latest by your Schools enrolment deadline.

If you cannot arrive by your Schools deadline then you may need to consider interrupting your studies to the next academic year. In some exceptional cases, and where appropriate evidence is provided before the deadline the School, with Student Administration may temporarily accept a late arrival and enrolment. You should first contact your School to discuss your situation before travelling and arriving after the latest date for arrival

For further details, including if you are delayed coming to campus or arriving in the UK please visit the Failure to enrol webpage by following the link below.

Your late arrival and enrolment will not change your liability for full tuition or accommodation fees.

Returning from interruption

If you need permission to study in the UK and need to request a new CAS, you should apply atleast six months before your planned return to the UK. You can request this by completing the online CAS request form. You’ll also need to contact your School Helpdesk to make sure you’re registered on the modules you will be taking when you return. There is support available to you if you need any help settling back into your studies.
