This event takes place on an annual basis, where recognition is given to volunteers through a variety of prestigious presentations and awards.Following on from last years success we will be jointly hosting the event with Voluntary Support North Surrey and Runnymede Borough Council.
This year British Airways are supporting the Runnymede Volunteer Awards with guest speaker Carmel Khan, Volunteering Progamme Manager, and a generous financial contribution towards the costs of the event.
The Mayor of Runnymede sponsors the 'Student of the Year' with the presentation of The Mayor's Cup, and the Community Action Cup will be presented to volunteering group of the year. V awards are given out and Community Action volunteering accreditation is awarded personally by the Principal. This is a great end to the volunteering calendar, and is definitely a real achivement for active student volunteers.
