Free pizza for first 100 students!
Community Action is hosting two Volunteering Fairs on Wednesday 7th & 14th October for Royal Holloway students and staff to find out more about the various voluntary organisations, and volunteering opportunities within the local community and beyond.
The Volunteering Fairs will be opened by The Mayor of Runnymede and will each feature community partner organisations, Community Action student-led projects, volunteering abroad, and awards & recognition stands.
Joining the Community Action team will be representives from the following organisations;
TutorFair, KIT (2009), CCHF - all about kids, Windsor Care, Hythe Community Primary School, Starfish Greathearts, Brightlights, Beanstalk, yourSanctuary, Guildford Cathedral, TeachFirst plus student-led projects; Intergenerational Reminiscence, Food Recycling Scheme, Community Garden, Nature Conservation, Contact the Elderly Tea Parties, Thames21, Santa's Workshop, Donate & Reuse.
All recorded volunteering will earn Passport Award points.
As this is a lunchtime event, the first 100 to attend will receive free pizza!
