The unveiling of our commissioned art installtion to celebrate 10 years of the College's Community Action volunteering programme to serve the local community. The piece is entiled 'Human Chemistry' which has been created from porcelain discs created through several community workshops (including youth centres, and the local day centre). The artist Mary Branson's vision is inspired by the symbolism of chemical elements that make up our bodies, forming a structure of interlinked daily complex reactions. The overall effect will be a shaft of light exposing the floating dust in the air.
This 10 year commemorative art installation has been supported by Royal Holloway's Alumni Fund.
