Community Action in partnership with the British Heart Foundation is running a College-wide stock drive with multiple collection points and days across the last few weeks of term. A team of dedicated volunteers is required to distribute bags and raise awareness across campus including halls of residence and academic departments. This will culminate in a series of collections at the end of the month and a special collection as part of Volunteering Week on the 5 June in the Students’ Union.
‘We love the things you no longer need.’
Please donate clothes, bags, books, CDs, DVDs and any other stuff you no longer need to help stop people dying from heart disease. The donated items will be distributed to local BHF stores for sorting and to raise much needed funds for this cause.
Why not get a group of friends or people from your hall together to raise awareness and hand out bags at a time to suit you?
To volunteer please email volunteering@ rhul.ac.uk| or todonate items then simply pick up a bag from campus receptions or volunteers on campus.
