The Doctoral School is committed to recognising the work of our PGR community. This year we wished to recognise MPhil/PhD candidates who had a particular contribution, beyond that which may be expected within the normal realm of the PhD, to the PGR community in each School.
The following PGR students have provided an outstanding contribution to the local PGR community, either at department or School level:

- Kate Pozgay (School of Humanities)
- Tatiana Glazkova (School of LSE)
- Kat Osborne (School of LSS)
- Shanika Ranasinghe (School of PDA)
- The Other Kind of Doctor podcast team (Gemma Rides, Gaia Giampietro, Ryan Jefferies, Courtney Hooton, Teale Failla, Lewis Gibson and Polly Hember)
The winners each received a £250 gift voucher, and will formally be awarded by the Associate-Pro-Vice Chancellor at the Doctoral School Conference on 07 November 2024.
