- You will receive an email within 24 hours to confirm that this change has taken effect
If you did not start in September, January or April, please contact the Doctoral School for clarification of your payment schedule.
- If you are a continuing student with a September start date anniversary:
- You should expect to receive payment by Monday 02 October 2023 as long as you have completed Online Sign Up by 05 September 2023.
- After that, stipend awards will be paid directly into your UK bank account on a quarterly basis (see table below).
- If your start date anniversary is not in September:
- You will not receive your stipend payment unless you have completed Online Sign Up for the new academic year.
- You should expect to receive payment of your stipend within four weeks of your full enrolment, as long as you have entered your UK bank details on Campus Connect.
- After that, stipend awards will be paid directly into your UK bank account on a quarterly basis (see table below).
If you did not start in September or January, please contact the Doctoral School for clarification of your payment schedule.
For the academic year 2023/24, students on a standard payment schedule (with September, January, April start dates) should expect to receive payment of their stipend award by the dates below.
Please note payment dates around Easter and Christmas may vary due to University closure but will be paid earlier so you will be paid before the first day of the quarter (01 January and 01 April).

- uploaded your bank details to Campus Connect.
