Across October and November, Cambridge Spark are running a 9-week bootcamp programme with one of the UK’s leading commercial banks. The aim of the programme is to rapidly upskill their incoming graduate intake in Data Science & Machine Learning through live virtual workshops and in-person teaching sessions. The programme is run nationwide, with hubs in Bristol, Leeds and London.
We are looking for PhD / MSc students in relevant disciplines who would be interested in leading tutoring sessions for the graduates.
- The programme will run from 30th September - 29th November
- Weekly commitment will vary slightly, but in the main will be Monday - Wednesday AM, and all day on Thursdays during this time (Monday - Wednesday online, Thursdays in-person at the bank’s Leeds offices)
- The programme will be based in Python, and tutors will require knowledge of standard machine learning techniques (regression, classification, time series analysis)
Whilst, ideally, they would be seeking to take on tutors who can cover the whole programme, they would be open to enquiries from tutors who can only cover part of the commitment. Please note that the rate of pay will be £150 per half day.
They would like interested candidates to send their CVs and any questions to Nick Neasom (nick.neasom@cambridgespark.com) and Roshan Rehman, (roshan.rehman@cambridgespark.com) who are leading on the recruitment for this project. They would also be more than happy to set up a call to discuss further with someone who may be able to help.
