Following the successful launch of 'The Other Kind of Doctor' last month, we are now recruiting for two more researcher-led initiatives that will provide further opportunities to support researchers in their journey and showcase their research and achievements!
Doctoral School Blog: We are keen to support the development of a new blog, written and developed by PGRs and ECRs. The aim is to support and build the ECR community, to showcase research and achievements, to provide useful advice, and more. The blog name, mission statement, and core roles will be decided by the blog team.
Please fill in this expression of interest form to get involved with the Blog team.
Researcher Initiatives Advisory Group: We are seeking applications from PGR researchers, postdoctoral researchers, academic staff, and industry collaborators who would like to be involved in providing oversight and advice to those leading ongoing researcher-led initiatives. Currently, this would be for the podcast and blog, though we hope that the advisory group will develop alongside these PGR-led initiatives. The group will advise on practical matters and content/topics to be addressed and will offer support in identifying new directions and overcoming any challenges. We expect that the group will meet approximately once a term online to discuss ongoing initiatives.
Please fill in this expression of interest form to get involved with the Advisory Group.
Why get involved?
These opportunities are a great way to strengthen your communication skills, build networks, improve your confidence, and add to your valuable CV skills such as writing, reviewing, publication, and leadership. You will be involved in supporting and building the PGR community, enhancing the PGR voice, and promoting PGR and postdoctoral researchers’ work.
Please fill out the expression of interest form for either/both roles before 22nd April 12:00.
