This year our Winter Graduation ceremonies will be taking place from Monday 11 -Friday 15 December on our Egham campus.
You may have been contacted via email this week with information on how to register, book your gown and apply to be a Student Orator. If you are eligible to attend Winter Graduation this year you must confirm your attendance before 12pm (GMT) on Friday 10 November 2023. Find out more and book now.
Check your eligibility
To be eligible to attend a Winter Graduation ceremony, your award date must be Wednesday 1 November 2023 or earlier. You also need to have submitted the final copy of your thesis by Thursday 30 November 2023 at the latest.
Please note having completed your viva before Wednesday 1 November 2023 does not immediately make you eligible. Your award must be confirmed by your School Director of Postgraduate Research Education following formal approval of your corrections by your examiner on or before Wednesday 1 November 2023. Share your story as a Student Orator
At each ceremony, there will be an opportunity for a student to deliver a speech to fellow graduands, guests and academic staff. This is an opportunity for you to share your experiences and thank those who have supported you during your time at Royal Holloway. If you're a confident speaker with a story to tell, please apply before 12pm on Monday 16 October. Learn more
