Royal Holloway's Centre for Victorian Studies is thrilled to offer a half-day of heritage talks and workshops with the Charles Dickens Museum (London).
The event will comprise of a guided tour around the current special exhibition, 'To Be Read at Dusk: Dickens, Ghosts and the Supernatural', a talk about integrating heritage placements into Post-Graduate study, and an object handling/material culture workshop with the museum's Senior Curator. You will also have the chance to look around the whole museum, should you wish to stick about after the event!
This event is aimed at PGT/PGR students, but ECRs would also be very welcome. Refreshments are included and will be provided at the museum. This is a free event, but please be aware that there is limited space available and places will be secured on a first-come-first-served basis.
