Please see below all the latest Libary Services updates:
Laptop loans. The Library has resumed the laptop loan scheme. 40 Laptops will be available to borrow from the laptop cabinets in the Emily Wilding Davison building from Friday, 23 October. The laptops can be borrowed from 7 am and will need to be returned by 11 pm on the same day. All laptops need to be returned to the library reception and will be quarantined for 72 hours on return.
Study spaces at the Emily Wilding Davison building. From Monday, 26 October, students and staff will not have to book a study space to access to library. Occupancy will be managed by users registering their visit through the Track and Trace app or by signing in with their student number at the reception desk. All study spaces are for individual study, not group study, and the rules on social distancing and use of face coverings still apply.
Study spaces at Founders Reading Room. Founders Reading Room is open for individual, quiet study. It can be accessed via the South Tower and will be open 24 hours a day providing a place to study overnight when the Emily Wilding Davison building is closed. The number of study spaces has been reduced to ensure social distancing is maintained. During teaching hours, the number of study spaces will be reduced further, while the room is used as an access route to teaching space. We ask you to follow the safety measures in place, including using the available QR code to register your presence, in line with test and trace requirements.
