Royal Holloway’s Research and Innovation Team has a part-time student casual worker opportunity for a Partnerships and Engagement Officer to help us deliver knowledge exchange, partnership and challenge-led research development activities. This role would suit a PhD student and offers experience in knowledge exchange and social innovation work at a university, and a chance to work on projects that make a positive impact in the world. The post holder will have exposure to a wide range of stakeholders and academics in topics such as sustainability, health, heritage, the creative sector and education, among others.
Duties will involve programme co-ordination, organising meetings and events, engaging with external and internal stakeholders, administrative programme support, and helping with communication activities. The focus will include partnership development and social innovation projects, support with Living Sustainably catalyst’s activities, organising training for staff and helping co-ordinate other / new programmes. This is a flexible, casual student worker role that can work around PhD commitments. On average we expect this to be around 1 day/week, initially for 5 months.
