The Classics department at Royal Holloway is pleased to invite applications from students with well-developed projects for a PhD studentship, beginning in September 2022. The department is based in the School of Humanities, a dynamic interdisciplinary centre bringing together Classics, English, History, and Languages, Literatures and Cultures.

The studentship includes a fee waiver at the home rate for 3.5 years and a £18,062 annual stipend for the same period.

The department welcomes applications across the range of Classical disciplines.
