The Gender Institute will be running a Feminist Reading Group over the summer, using Teams; colleagues and PGRs are very welcome to attend. The group will follow an informal format: there will be short reading assigned for each session; participants will be asked to come prepared to discuss the reading and what (if anything!) might be done with it. The sessions are meant to allow brainstorming and networking; there is no designated outcome beyond having read some theoretical material that might spark new research ideas. Colleagues may attend as many or as few sessions as they wish. Meetings will be planned for an hour, but scheduled to take up 90 minutes in case of spontaneous enthusiasm. Children, pets and other unscheduled participants are anticipated and welcome. The Group will be coordinated by Liz Gloyn, who ran a summer Feminist Reading Group within the School of Humanities in 2020 and 2021. The readings and dates are as follows:
