2pm-2.05pm Welcome to the British Library Doctoral Open Day (Cara Rodway, Head of Research Development)
2.05-2.25pm Introduction to the British Library (Xerxes Mazda, Head of Collections and Curation)
2.25-2.35pm Supporting doctoral research (Cara Rodway)
2.35-2.55pm BREAK
2.55-3.45pm Start researching with the British Library – the basics (Reference Services Team)
3.45-4.00pm Next steps with the British Library (Cara Rodway)
4.00pm FINISH
Once you have picked up the basics with our introductory webinar, you’ll be able to choose from a range of other Doctoral Open Days, each introducing an area of our collection so you can focus on what will be relevant to you. If your research spans multiple collections, please feel free to attend more than one. You’ll be able to meet our curators, see objects from our collections, and learn more about careers in the sector. If you're unsure which Open Day would be most suitable for your research, feel free to get in touch at pgrbl.uk.
