Arrival from outside of the UK
If you are travelling from abroad, we understand that your travel to the UK may be delayed due to Covid-19 travel restrictions. If you are delayed, you may well be able to start your research remotely, with the aim to arrive on campus as soon as the situation allows. We recommend that you contact your supervisor to discuss how effectively you will be able to start your research programme away from campus. If this is indeed possible:
When you do then arrive in the UK, please complete the Arrival in the UK form
The College has introduced a quarantine and self-isolation support package to support students with an EU or international fee status and who are currently abroad and will be travelling to campus for the 2021/22 academic year. Find out more

PGR Peer Mentoring scheme
The Doctoral School runs a Peer Mentoring Scheme where you can apply for a mentor to provide advice on community and developmental aspects of PGR study. Past mentees have said they feel less isolated with a mentor and benefitted by discussing topics such as being new to HE, pastoral support, referencing, upgrades and annual reviews and dealing with overwhelm of information. We will try to match by discipline. Find out more
