The Community Research Hub is a Royal Holloway Volunteering initiative which provides students with the opportunity to develop research-related skills and gain valuable real-world experience, by creating partnerships with charities and other non-profit organisations requiring pro bono research and data analysis.
Englefield Garden Greenies Community: Climate Change through Home Gardening; is a voluntary group of Englefield Green residents, passionate about climate change, biodiversity and reducing both pollution, waste and harmful emissions. The aim of this project is to help engage the 15,000 residents of Englefield Green to adopt the Royal Horticultural Society’s ‘Ten Point Plan’ to create a positive effect on climate change through gardening. A student has already been supporting this project by designing and collating a questionnaire which will provide benchmark data, but we now need someone new to pick up where she has left off!
