The University of Kent’s Global Challenges Doctoral Centre will be hosting its first Training School in between 2-6 JUly 2019.
The centre, or
GCDC, was inaugurated in academic year 2018/19 with an initial cohort of 4 students, to be joined by 8 others in September 2019. The summer school is directed by Dr Ingvild Bode of Kent’s School of Politics and International Relations, the GCDC’s inaugural director, working in close collaboration with Professor Elena Korosteleva and her
GCRF COMPASS project team, supported by the Graduate School and Research Services. The Training School is integrated with
Kent’s second GCRF conference, focused on the theme of Resilience.

- 11th March 2019 - Deadline for applications and travel bursary applications
- 25nd March 2019 - Communication of the outcome of your application
- 1st April 2019 - Deadline for confirming participation
