Get involved in Royal Holloway Sport's Group Exercise Classes. Our variety of group exercise classes are all led by our fully qualified, professional fitness instructors daily. Whether you have taken part in exercise classes before, or you are completely new, we have something for you.
Yoga & vinyasa flow
These classes are great for beginners to Yoga, with slow flowing movements designed to set you up for the day. Our Vinyasa Flow classes offer a contemporary style of Yoga as you move from a gentle to more fluid and sometimes challenging flow.
HIIT
High intensity interval training is a class to help increase your cardiovascular fitness and muscular endurance. The class consists of high impact intervals of activity, followed by rest.
Legs, bums & tums
Total body conditioning classes designed to get your muscles moving and heart pumping. Using a variety of techniques, you can experience a great workout that will improve your strength, cardiovascular fitness and endurance.
Zumba
Zumba is an interval-style dance fitness class that combines low and high intensity moves. You'll burn lots of calories as you move to the rhythm with Latin-inspired dance moves. The best thing about it is that it doesn't even feel like exercise!
Studio cycling
A great cardiovascular workout. On your stationary bike, pedal through hill climbs, sprints, and flat runs all with the help of our great instructors. All levels are welcome, just pop along and an instructor will show you how to set up your bike at the beginning of your class.
Learn2lift
Explore the foundations of key lifts and gain confidence in the gym with our technique-focused programme. Whether you're new to strength training or seeking to improve your overall fitness, this session is perfect for all experience levels. Our welcoming environment ensures individualized attention and support as we work together to achieve your personal goals.
