If you do not have your student ID card or an acceptable form of photo identification on the day of your exam, you can attend a Temporary ID Card station located in the Student Services Centre (Emily Wilding Davidson Building) during the Summer Vacation Assessment Period (SV-AP) exam period - Tuesday 25 August and Friday 4 September 2026 from 9am to 10am and 1.30pm to 2.20pm (30 minutes before and after the start of each exam) to obtain a one-time use ID for an exam. This Temporary ID card station will be open thirty minutes before exams start and thirty minutes after an exam starts.

Fire alarm test - what to expect

Please note that a fire alarm test is carried out every Tuesday between 1:15 pm and 4 pm in the Emily Wilding Davison building. During this time, you may hear a loud alarm sound. The voice message will confirm that it is a fire alarm test.

If you are visiting us or speaking with us by phone during the test, we may need to pause our conversation briefly until the alarm has stopped, to ensure we don’t miss anything. We will always let you know if this is necessary and we appreciate your patience during this time.
