We are still here to support you after graduation
Did you know you can access our support for two years after graduation? Whether you are looking to find work or applying for further study, we can help! Take a look below to see how.
Create an alumni account
As a graduate of Royal Holloway University, to access our support via the Careers Portal you will need to register for an alumni account. Once you have registered with your new alumni account you will be able to access the jobs page and book onto events and make appointments with a Career Consultant. If you have any questions, please contact careers@royalholloway.ac.uk.
Careers Consultant appointments
Our one-to-one discussions will help you evaluate your skills, explore career ideas and put together a plan that will get you started on a journey towards career success. Once you know what your next step is, our Careers Consultants can check your job applications, CVs, cover letters or personal statements for further study. They can also offer practice interviews with feedback, once you have been invited to an interview; practising beforehand can make a real difference to your performance on the day.
All appointments are available online as well as in person, including over the holidays. Discover more about Careers Consultant appointments
Practice interviews
If you have been invited to an interview, you can book an in-person or online practice interview beforehand with a Careers Consultant who will ask the types of question you might expect on the day and provide you with feedback and some advice on how best to prepare. Email us at careers@rhul.ac.uk to book or for further information.
