There are many different catering outlets to choose from, each with its own style and character, so whether you prefer to grab a coffee and work on your laptop, or to go somewhere comfy to enjoy a home-cooked meal, there is a great choice.

Coffee Review September 2025

Following a review of our coffee and our instigated changes to Café on The Square there is a financial benefit that we have been able to pass directly on to our customer. Feedback was that our coffee was seen as expensive and we have now reduced our prices to redefine coffee on campus as good value for money and no longer as a treat. By placing our price point as cheaper than the high street we will encourage our customers to buy their coffee on campus and not on the journey and recognise and support the importance to the cost of living to staff and students.

We ensure our ingredients are sourced locally and are in season whenever possible. Take a look at the provenance of our seasonal fruit and vegetables as well as some of our seasonal recipes.
