Royal Holloway Bursaries, Scholarships and Studentships

Bursaries 

Bursaries are automatically awarded to students based on information you provide at the point of application and enrolment and household income assessed when you apply for a student loan. 

Our current bursaries are only awarded to undergraduate students. If you believe you are eligible for a bursary but have not yet been awarded it then please visit Ask Royal Holloway.

Scholarships 

Scholarships available to both undergraduate and postgraduate taught students must be applied for by the deadlines listed. 

Studentships

Studentships for research students with a high academic potential are available. 

External Funding Opportunities for Postgraduate Students

As either a postgraduate taught or postgraduate research student you may be eligible to apply for external funding.

The Study Support Grant

Royal Holloway is able to offer limited funding to students who find themselve in financial difficulty during their studies. To be eligible for an award from the Study Support Grant, all students must show that they have exhaused all other access to funding and that they enrolled on their course with a clear plan of how they would meet their associated costs of study.
