Students' Union student staff

The people that work for RHSU don’t just do it for a paycheque. No, they’re passionate about being part of something big, part of an organisation that creates change on campus, delivering events and campaigns on a weekly basis.  Job vacancies in the SU include bar and catering team roles, event support staff, photographers, venue tech crew, shop roles, and much more.  You can find more about their current vacancies here

University student staff

There are a number of vacancies each year for jobs across a number of different university teams including as Student Ambassadors, Conferencing and Catering, It Services, and Library Services.  These are usually advertised on the Royal Holloway jobs vacancy page (under casual vacancies) and you can also find out more here.

Apply be a Student Ambassador

If you have a good knowledge and understanding of Royal Holloway, our student experience and community, as well as local facilities, then you may want to apply be a Student Ambassador. Find out more here.

The Careers team host a part time jobs fair each year at the beginning of the autumn and spring terms.

At these events you can find out about part-time and seasonal vacancies to support your time at university and build on your career skills. Roles available will include roles on campus, in the local area alongide remote opportunities. Find out more here.

Careers Portal

This lists a wide range of opportunities, from graduate schemes and year-long placements, to insight experiences and part-time jobs. Vacancies are uploaded on a daily basis and you can set up alerts to be notified of opportunities that might be of interest. Use the filter function to select options such as sector, job-type, location and whether visa sponsorship is offered or not.  Look online here.

Please note it is important to remember that if you are a current student wishing to work part-time during term-time, then you should work no more than 20 hours a week. Anything over this is likely to interfere with your studies. International students are subject to the terms of their student visa.
