New memberships available soon:
As we prepare to reopen, we are working hard to make sure our site is Covid-19 secure. Part of this process will be to move all membership purchases and session bookings online to reduce face-to-face contact between members and staff.
We are introducing a new membership model as seen above in light of new procedures and this will mean a cap on membership numbers to allow for the best experience to those using the gym and group exercise classes.
We are inviting you all to sign up now so that when memberships go live you already have your login ready to be in with a chance of purchasing your membership for term one.
Our online booking system can be found here als.royalholloway.ac.uk
To sign up on this system you will require the following information which has to match with the information we have for you from the University.
MEMBER ID- This for students is your student number. For all other users please contact firstname.lastname@example.org if you do not know your member ID
LAST NAME- Your surname
EMAIL- This will be your student email address but may be in either of the formats below
StudentNumber@rhul.ac.uk (EG. email@example.com)
Please try both formats, if you have any problems with registering please contact firstname.lastname@example.org who will be able to assist you.
Once you are registered you can login, purchase your membership once they go live and you will then be able to book gym sessions, group exercise classes, active sessions and Students' Union club training sessions.
The Royal Holloway Sports pass allows you to book your gym sessions, group exercise classes or Active sessions as a pay-as-you-go member. It will also give you priority access to upgrade to a full Royal Holloway Fitness membership upon the release of more Fitness memberships. You will also require the Sports pass if you are a member of a Students' Union sports club that trains on-campus.
No, you will only need to purchase a Royal Holloway Sports pass if your club trains on campus.
The Royal Holloway Fitness memberships will be released very soon! There will be 400 Fitness memberships available in the first release and then more will be released every couple of weeks as our capacity increases in line with government guidance.
