The Fidelio Trio Project (by Joe Burns)

The motivation behind this film series was to capture a composer at work. I filmed with various composers during Spring 2015 as they prepared pieces to be performed by The Fidelio Trio, a world renowned piano trio, at a special concert at Royal Holloway.

In total I completed five films in three months, each one about a different composer. The films feature in-depth interviews, observational footage of the composers at work and live concert footage. I undertook the planning, filming, editing and distribution of the entire project.
