The Geography Department will be conducting a planned drone and laser survey of Founder’s Building on our Egham campus on Tuesday (20 August) and Thursday (22 August). The survey will be taking place between 1-3.30pm each day, with the drones taking off from the roof of the Emily Wilding Davison Building.
During the survey, the drones will be taking photographs of the Founder’s Building and the surrounding area. Taken at a distance, no individuals will be distinguishable in any of the photographs. These images will then be cross-referenced with data gathered through the laser survey and are essential for detailed analysis of the external building structure.
Founder’s Building will remain accessible to students, colleagues, and visitors.
