The Cave Hunters And The Truth Machine, an exhibition in the Emily Wilding Davison Gallery showcasing the collaboration between artist Sean Harris and cave palaeontologist Professor Danielle Schreve features an Ice Age menagerie of animated creatures.
On the evenings of Thursday 16 May and Friday 17 May between 9.30 - 11pm, Sean and Danielle will be releasing the beasts to the elements from the rooftop study terrace on the Davison Building on our Egham campus using their own Truth Machine!
This large scale projection device, a light sculpture created from re-purposed materials, will present the mesmerising work featured in the exhibition which brings to life the incredible creatures that once roamed our landscape: hyaenas, mammoths, giant deer, cave lions – and the formidable and magnificent scimitar-toothed cat.
Come prepared for an Ice Age Safari!
