On Tuesday (14 May), students showcased different languages, cultures, and faiths at our first-ever Festival of Languages and Cultures on Founder’s Square (Egham campus). The busy and bustling event offered live performances of Japanese Noh theatre by Sakurako Tanaka and Sitar music by Pavit Dhadyalla. While attendees feasted on a range of international snacks and foods—from Eastern European chocolates to French cheeses and delicious Bao from Hong Kong.
The festival was a testament to our diverse and inclusive community. Student societies and staff, including Wellbeing teams and language tutors, came together from across our community to share and celebrate their cultures and languages.
A huge thank you to everyone who visited on the day and helped make the festival special.
