Join the Volunteering Department from 18-22 November for #iWill Week. The theme for this year is Politics and Democracy, supported by five micro-themes: Environmental Awareness, Supporting Marginalized Communities, Promoting Mental Awareness, Youth Voices and Sustainable Governance. We will be launching #IWill on Monday 18 November at the Event Space in the EWD Atrium (Egham campus) at 2.30pm, where there will be a mural display (created by our students) followed by a TED-style talk on politics, democracy and environmental sustainability and how this is an important part of policy making, especially considering the launch of the RH2030 strategy. The talk will be delivered by Professor Klaus Dodd, the Lead for Sustainability.
The rest of the week will follow our INSPIRE leaders highlighting the important work being carried out by social action projects and why pledging volunteering hours is a good way to give back to the community.
