Starting university can be thrilling, but it's also normal to feel a bit wobbly and out of balance, especially as you settle into a new academic year. That’s where Wobble Week comes in! From 11 November to 15 November, join us for a week filled with events, activities, and friendly faces designed to help you find your footing, make connections, and discover the incredible resources available to you at university.

What is Wobble Week?

Wobble Week is a campaign crafted with you in mind—a time to connect with both your Students' Union (SU) and the wider university community. It’s an opportunity for every student, whether you're fresh on campus or a returning student, to find support, make new friends, and learn about the many ways our university can enhance your experience.

The first few months of the academic year can be overwhelming as you adjust to new classes, new routines, and perhaps even a new home. It’s completely normal to feel a bit uncertain or out of balance—that’s why Wobble Week exists! We’re here to help you settle in, whether that means meeting new people, chatting with staff, or simply discovering where you can go for a bit of support when things feel shaky.

What to Expect Each Day

Every day of Wobble Week, you’ll find exciting activities that bring people together and highlight the resources available to support you. Events such as Budgeting Best Bits, Community Officer Café or even a trip to see Wicked on the west end and drop-in sessions with university and SU teams are just a taste of what’s on offer!

Check out all the events here.
