Next week we are launching our new university strategy, RH2030s. From Monday 7 – Friday 11 October, there are fantastic events taking place open to students and staff - from free pizza and a panel event with the Students' Union to TEDx-style lighting talks on our areas of strength.

Being a University of Social Purpose - student panel and free pizza
Join the Students' Union Sabbatical Officers on Wednesday (9 October), from 12.30-2pm in the Moore Auditorium (Egham campus) for free pizza and an exciting panel discussion featuring members of the University and Students' Union Senior Leadership Teams. The SU Officers will be asking staff members to explain and explore what it means to be a University of Social Purpose. You’ll get to hear how this impacts you and discover ways to get involved.
Guest lecture by the Rt Hon Justine Greening
On Thursday (10 October) join a special guest lecture by Rt Hon Justine Greening to explore the crucial role of higher education in breaking down barriers to opportunity for those who come from the most disadvantaged backgrounds. Taking place from 6.15-7.15pm in the Windsor Auditorium.
Stories from our alumni community
On Tuesday (8 October) hear inspiring tales from our amazing alumni community! Our alumni panel of changemakers will share their journeys, successes, and the lessons they've learned along the way. Spanning a range of disciplines and industries, pursuing a passion ties our alumni panel together.
Taking place from 5-6pm in the Emily Wilding Davison Building, room 1-04.

- Bobby Seagull, maths teacher, TV broadcaster, writer and podcaster.
- Sandra Anani, Director and Founder of Sustainability To Action.
- Pallavi Bagga, Data Scientist at Moorfields Eye Hospital NHS Foundation Trust.
- Simon Sladen, Senior Curator of Modern and Contemporary Theatre and Performance at the Victoria and Albert Museum and Senior Tutor (Performance) on the V&A and Royal College of Art’s History of Design Master’s programme.
- Dunola Oladapo, founder of Luton Lights - a charity to economically empower women and girls in Luton.
