IT Services are currently updating the way our data is stored across the University, and because of this, there will be some upcoming downtime on some of our network drives. Between 5pm on Wednesday 6 November and 8am on Thursday 7 November, the Y Drive (which you may know as ‘MyData’) will be unavailable.
The Y Drive, or ‘MyData’ contains your personal files. On Wednesday 6 November, you will need to save and close your files, otherwise any changes made will be lost.
If on the morning of Tuesday 7 November your Y Drive is not working, please restart your device. If after the reboot you are still experiencing issues, please contact IT Services for more support.
