We want to understand reading experiences in neurodivergent adults and whether and how motivation changes across the lifespan.
We are interested in interviewing.
- adults aged 21-30 with
- a clinical diagnosis of autism, DLD and/or dyslexia
- who report childhood reading difficulties.
People without a diagnosis or reading difficulties will not be included. We are specifically recruiting those who grow up speaking English in the UK and do not report an intellectual disability.

If you decide to take part, you will complete a short questionnaire (~30 mins), which can be online, via email or phone. If you meet the criteria, you will be invited to arrange an online interview on Teams centred around our questions (~1 hour). Those who complete the full study will receive a £10 Amazon voucher.
