Hi,
this is really specific but I'm going on a year abroad next year and spending half of it in Germany, I've been allocated to a town called "Salzgitter" in Lower Saxony, was just wondering if there was anyone who's gone to Germany as part of a year abroad and what they used to find accommodation? If you were in that region even better but any general advice is good, I don't want to end up in some dive that's all.
