Completing Your Degree


Congratulations, you have successfully completed your current Degree Course at Royal Holloway! Please see below for what happens next.

Results documentation

Undergraduates

Your Degree Certificate and Transcript of Results will be sent to your forwarding address as it is recorded in Campus Connect. Please log in to Campus Connect to check your forwarding address is up-to-date by the end of the day on Sunday 7th July 2024 at the latest, otherwise your Degree Certificate or Transcript of Results may be sent to the wrong address.

If you have any outstanding payments with the College, this will delay the production of your certificate so we would recommend ensuring that all outstanding payments are paid.

Transcripts 

A Transcript (which is a formal statement confirming your module marks, course title, dates of attendance and award details) will be posted to all successful undergraduates with a forwarding address in the UK from 11 July 2024.

If your forwarding address is outside of the UK, you’ll be able to collect your Transcript on the day of your graduation ceremony from the Windsor Building.

Any documents that aren’t collected during graduation week will be posted to forwarding addresses outside the UK on Monday 22 July.

Transcripts being sent to UK forwarding addresses are sent by Royal Mail or DHL Global for overseas addresses. Please note that neither of these services provide a tracking number and we therefore cannot track the post. 

Degree Certificates 

Certificates for University of London Bachelor's and Master's degrees are produced and dispatched by the Diploma Production Office at the University of London and will be posted to students’ forwarding addresses within 3-6 months of the award date.
 
Certificates will not be issued to any student with an outstanding academic debt to the College or the University of London. If you settle a debt after leaving the College, please contact us to arrange for your certificate to be issued.

 

Questions and Appeals

If you have a question about your results or progression decision, please contact your School Administration team in the first instance. If this does not resolve the issue and you are considering submitting an academic appeal, you should consult the Appeals Webpages for full details on the appeals process. An appeal may only be submitted on certain limited grounds.

The deadline to appeal for Undergraduates is 5pm on Wednesday 24 July 2024.

The next Graduation ceremonies for UG students and PGT (Jan Starters only) will be in July 2024. For PGT students, the ceremonies will be in December 2024.

Now that you have completed your studies the way that Royal Holloway will communicate with you changes slightly. To make sure you don’t miss important communications and to ensure we send your degree certificate to the correct address please check your details are up to date in Campus Connect.

Please also ensure you have provided a Personal Email Address.
