Royal Holloway is one of the safest campuses in the UK, and we ask students and staff to work together to maintain this and to reduce risk further within the campus and surrounding areas.
We have a Campus Watch scheme in operation which encourages you to look out for each other on campus and locally, and to report anything suspicious to the Police or College Security.
College Security operates, and is contactable, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week for your protection. If there is an emergency on campus please call the dedicated security line on 444.
We also have a team of Campus Watch Safety Officers, within Security, who are on duty on campus at night (in addition to Security Officers) to respond to any issues of concern and to maintain a high visible presence for safety and security.
CCTV and ANPR cameras are also in operation across campus and Safer Runnymede has a network of CAITIFF cameras locally which are monitored 24/7.
For additional information with regards to safety in the community please visit the Surrey Police website.
