UK and EU undergraduates
The tuition fee for UK and EU undergraduate students in 2024/25 is £9,250.
EU Undergraduate students in 2024/25 as per below:-
Since 2021/22 EU students have been classified as International Students for fee purposes. The year that you start at Royal Holloway University will determine the discount available to you:
- For students starting programmes in 2021/22 a fee reduction scholarship was offered equivalent to the difference between the UK and International fee for the full duration of their course.
- For students starting programmes in 2022/23 a fee reduction scholarship was offered that is equivalent to a 60% reduction in the difference between the UK and International fee for the full duration of their course.
- For students starting programmes in 2023/24 a fee reduction scholarship was offered that is equivalent to a 30% reduction in the difference between the UK and International fee for the full duration of their course.

Taught postgraduates
Most taught postgraduate programmes only last one year, but there's a small number of programmes that continue into a second year.

Research postgraduates

Writing Up Fee
The Postgraduate Research Writing up Fee is £480 (full time) for 2024/25. If students submit during a designated writing up year, they are entitled to a pro-rata refund which is calculated according to the date of submission.
Extension and Resubmission Fees
The Postgraduate Research Extension Fee (extension to the Writing Up year) is £495 for up to six months – more than six months is pro-rata for every additional month. Pro-rata refund does not apply to the extension period.
When you have submitted your thesis for examination, you're required to complete online sign-up for the relevant session so as to ensure that the College has accurate registration details. If, following your viva, you're required to resubmit and make substantial amendments to your thesis, you're expected to pay a flat resubmission fee, which covers your access to supervision and College facilities during your resubmission period.
