Congratulations to our CDT (Centre for Doctoral training) team, Minerva Task Force, who were crowned winners of this year’s Cyber 9/12 Strategy Challenge. The team, made up of Cyber Security PhD students Emma Smith, Kyra Mozley, Sofia Liemann Escobar and Stephanie Itimi are our second team to have won the competition.
The team received some fantastic feedback from judges (including some very senior policymakers and security practitioners) and were frequently praised for their teamwork, presentation delivery and creativeness, being awarded ‘Most Creative Policy’ for their policy response in round one. One judge remarked that the team were “powerhouses”, whilst another tweeted “Again, so good I fell in to character and thought I was back in the Cabinet Room in No10!”
