International Women’s Day takes place on Monday 8 March, and this year’s theme is 'Women in leadership: Achieving an equal future in a COVID-19 world'.
We want to hear from you, our Royal Holloway Community, on why International Women’s Day is important to you. You can get involved by sending a short video clip, or a quote along with an image of yourself that we’ll share centrally with students and staff.
What should I talk about in the video/ quote?
You can chose to talk about one of the following areas. It doesn’t have to be long, less than 30 seconds will be more than enough:
- Why International Woman’s Day is important to you
- A sentence or two on this year’s theme and how you’re getting involved.
- An example of a powerful woman that you look up to, someone either in your own life, or someone who has been known to have made a positive impact on society for women.
When do I need to send this, and who to?
