We do not permit visitors in halls. The legal requirement to keep to two households mixing, and the small sizes of common areas, make this impractical. We all need to play our part and ensure that the lessening of restrictions does not lead to outbreaks, especially during an examination period.
Please get together with friends in other spaces where it's possible to socially distance – outside and the college and Students' Union venues. The SU Clubs and Societies and college sports teams are also running in line with the current guidance.
We will continue to disperse larger gatherings and will consider fines and misconduct procedures for large gatherings in breach of the law where Police could enforce.
