My preferred authentication method of security methods isn't an option for my default method, what's going on?

Multi-Factor Authentication at Royal Holloway is used in two ways – to add an additional layer of authentication when accessing the University’s data or services, and to provide an additional way to verify your identity when resetting your password if you’re unable to login. Certain verification methods are only suitable for password checking, including email links and security questions. You’ll need to setup additional methods for day-to-day authentication when accessing services and applications.
