We have been informed by Surrey County Council that from Saturday 6 February they will be carrying out a localised testing programme in parts of Egham. Door to door testing will take place in the areas displayed on this map.
If you are currently living within any of the displayed areas, from Saturday 6 February you will receive a testing kit through your letterbox, with the request that you carry out a Covid-19 PCR test (polymerase chain reaction test), whether you have symptoms or not. Guidance on how to carry out a self-swab PCR test can be found in this video.
Further information about the localised testing programme in Egham, including FAQs, can be found on the Surrey County Council website. Please note, this testing is being carried out by Surrey County Council and is separate to the Local Testing Site and Asymptomatic Testing Site on campus.
As a reminder, please continue to follow the current government guidelines and national lockdown restrictions and contact our Student Advisory & Wellbeing team if you need any support.
