Finalist Undergraduates

What documentation can I get as proof of my award?

You will be issued a transcript of results and a degree certificate.

A transcript of results will include your course unit marks, dates of attendance and award details. A degree certificate will confirm your award and classification.

When will I get my Transcript of Results?

A transcript of results will be sent to all successful finalist students as soon as possible after the completion of your degree.  The transcript of results will be sent by post to your forwarding address as recorded in Campus Connect. Please log in to Campus Connect to check your forwarding address is up to date by Sunday 19 July 2020, otherwise your transcript and degree certificate may be sent to the wrong address. We are aware of a small number of students who may not be able to update address details in Campus Connect; IT are working to resolve the issue but if you encounter a problem saving your updated address information, you must email the Student Services Centre providing the full address you want us to update by Tuesday 21 July 2020. Requests received after this date will not be processed.

Update - 12 August 2020:

Transcripts have now been dispatched to successful finalist students. Transcripts to UK addresses have been sent via Royal Mail with First Class postage and transcripts to addresses outside of the UK via DHL courier.

We expect that your transcript of results to be received within 2 weeks of dispatch, however if you do not receive your document within this time please email the Student Services Centre.

A small number of students did not have valid forwarding addresses and will be contacted by e-mail to confirm the correct address.

Will my Transcript reference COVID-19 and the impact it has had on my assessments and results?

The transcript will include all the information required by students to verify their studies at the College, including a full list of courses taken, the course marks and credits and the overall award classification and final average.

The impact of COVID-19 will be acknowledged at a course level with the inclusion of a code against those courses for which the assessment was impacted by the pandemic.  Where a student was unable to successful complete an assessment as a result of the pandemic and has been given a further attempt, the mark will also be withheld and the outcome indicated as 'Incomplete Assessment'.

When will I get my Degree Certificate?

Degree certificates will be dispatched after the award date; 1 August 2020 for undergraduates and 1 November 2020 for postgraduates. However the exact timing for sending these documents to students completing in 2020 is to be confirmed. This is because the arrangements for producing and dispatching these documents have been considerably affected by the coronavirus pandemic.

Certificates for University of London Bachelors and Masters degrees are produced and dispatched by the Diploma Production Office at the University of London and this office was closed for many months as a result of the pandemic, which has resulted in the delay in production of certificates for all University of London students.  Certificates will be dispatched during October 2020

Certificates for Royal Holloway awards such as diplomas and certificates, are produced and dispatched by Royal Holloway and these will be posted by the end of August 2020.

Certificates will be sent by post to your forwarding address as recorded in Campus Connect. Please log in to Campus Connect to check your forwarding address is up to date by Sunday 19 July 2020, otherwise your transcript and degree certificate may be sent to the wrong address.

Please note, if you have an outstanding academic debt to the College at the time of your award, then you will not be issued with your degree certificate until the debt has been cleared.

Where and how will my documents be sent?

Transcripts and certificates will be sent to your forwarding address as recorded on Campus Connect.

Please ensure that your forwarding address is correct by Sunday 19 July 2020 to ensure the documents are sent to the correct address. Please see details on how to update your address on Campus Connect

Transcripts to UK addresses will be sent via Royal Mail with First Class postage.  Transcripts to addresses outside of the UK will be sent via DHL. Transcripts and degree certificates cannot be sent electronically.
