Hi! My name is Johti, and I am the School Peer Guide Coordinator (SPGC) for Humanities. I am also a Masters by Research student in English and will soon be beginning my PhD in the LLC department.  

My role as SPGC consists of matching new humanities students with a current student mentor known as a Peer Guide. I took on this role because I have been a part of the Humanities school for almost 5 years now, and I know that there is so much help and support available for incoming students. I am excited to share all of the wonderful services and initiatives that make studying in the humanities department such a joy. I aim to ensure your entrance into university life is as easy and enjoyable as possible. To all Humanities Peer Guides, I am also here to help you with your role as a mentor, and to answer any questions you may have!
